When you look in the mirror what do you see?
When you think about yourself, do you think good thoughts? Do you have an internal sense that you’re a good person? Do you value yourself?
Or is your self-esteem suffering?
Most people confuse “ego” with “self esteem.” In other words, if you apply for 5 jobs and all of companies make you an offer and want you to work for them, you may say something like, “That’s good for my ego.” You may believe that getting the 5 job offers increases your self-esteem. And yet, this doesn’t have anything to do with self-esteem.
So what really is Self-Esteem? In this month’s NLP Session, we are going to explore Esteem, Self-Esteem and Self-Confidence and how this is linked to whether or not you’ll achieve your New Year’s goals or not. We’ll also explore how we can improve our self-esteem and what NLP techniques we can utilise to help us.
